Using multiple WLL80 fiber amplifier and the fiber heads are mounted close to each other so that the light spots overlap - mutual interference may lead to unstable switching outputs. Light from amplifier 1 hits the receiver of amplifier 2.
To prevent this, you can connect multiple WLL80 amplifier via side connector (internal bus). It is possible to connect up to 16 devices in one bus.
Connected devices are synchronized with each other and therefore prevent mutual interference. The number of devices that are synchronized are depending on the selected response times. See table from operation instruction below:
Example: 16 devices on the bus. 70µs response time -> a maximum of 3 devices can be synchronized.
You may wonder: Do only the first 3 sensors then operate in anti-interference mode, and the remaining 13 not?
Answer is no.
In this case, blocks of 3 devices are formed.
