Dear all,
today i want to show you how to read data over OPC UA with node-red. In this case the interface is the SIG350.
First of all you have to connect with UA Expert in order to know which Information you want to have.
AS example in this picture i want to know to amount of current from pin 1.
As you see the information is stored in a node within the Namespace 6 (ns=6), Index 34836.
So now we start with the node red flow
1. /msdyn_blobfile/$value)
2. Set up following settings in this node
3. Use the OPC UA Client node and connect those
4. Setting up the OPC UA Settings
As you can see the my settings that the SIG350 is under ip Adresse 192.168.136.0 port 4840
As you perhaps already know you can connect an debug node to see what is going on.
And here is what the result looks like
So as you see at the moment the current on Pin1 Port 1 is around 30mA .
