For LMS5xx devices serveral system connectors are now available as spare parts.

The sellable spare part sets include:

Mounting instruction system connector LMS5

• All PRO-system connectors and the HeavyDuty-connector and the Hybrid connector are electrically compatible on LMS5-PRO's and on LMS5-HeavyDuty's
• All Lite-system connectors are electrically compatible on LMS5-Lite's.
• PRO/HevyDuty-system connectos are not electrically compatible with LMS5-Lite.
• LMS5-Lite system connectors are not electricaly compatible with LMS5-PRO/HeavyDuty.
• The firmware version ist not relevant for compatibility.

By breaking the seal labelled "QC passed" the warranty of the device will be void.
If your device is still within the warranty period, then balance between the options to exchange the system connector on your own or send the device for repair to SICK. After the warranty period has ended, the seal can be broken without hesitation.

Remark:
Heavy Duty devices are not labelled with "QC passed", but with "Remove for cloning". Here, the warranty period will not end if the system connector is taken off for a short moment within the warranty period.
Indoor devices are labelled with "QC passed" on the application module and not on the system connector, because the system connector needs to be opend for connecting the indoor devices. Also here, the warranty period will not end if the system connector is taken off for a short moment within the warranty period.
