How to replace a DG60 with a 6x19mm solid shaft recognizable by the third typecode letter "B"?

The phased-out DG60 was available with a solid shaft with a diameter of 6mm and a length of 19mm. It was recognizable by the third typecode letter "B".

Unfortunately this kind of mechanical interface/shaft is no more available in the standard encoder portfolio.

Luckily there is one customized DFS60 encoder with the same shaft available. It is the DFS60B-S4PA00S74/1081183.

There are a couple advantages with this DFS60:

• the encoder is programmable. Pre-programmed is a resolution of 500 pulses per revolution. A resolution of up to 10000 PPR is possible. Also other technical properties like the electrical interface, Set-Zero position,... are programmable via the PGT-08-S or the PGT-10-Pro.
• the encoder has the adapterflange BEF-FA-036-050/2029160 pre-mounted. In this way the encoder has a servo flange. If a face mount flange or clamping flange is needed, this adapterflange needs to be removed.
