The SCK/SCL series was a motor feedback series for large hollow shaft motors. It was a completely open system. The customer had to mount the glass code disc on the shaft. The encoder electronic had to be mounted on the motors flange.
The SCK/SCL was an absolute encoder series with Hiperface. It had a SIN/COS signal with 1024 periods per rotation. It was available with single turn and multi turn.
This Encoder series is phased out and we do not have any replacement.
customers, which were using this encoder series in the past, should now use the SEy70 or SEy90. But keep in mind! It is not a 1:1 replacement.
Also the STSxx would be a suitable replacement. But this device is also not a 1:1 replacement. There is also the problem, that due to the fact, that the STSxxx is not using binary resolutions, that the STSxxx is not supported by many drives. It is definitely not supported by old drives.
