Measurment technology HDDM

HDDM ((Hierarchical Digital Detection Method) ) measurement technology is in general robust against mutual interferences from other sensors. In HDDM, each measurement point consists of several superimposed individual pulses. Depending on the scanprofil (angle resolution and frequence) up to 254 pulses are combined for one meaurment point. To prevent interference, the pulse timing is not fixed but random. This reduces the risk of the LiDAR synchronizing with another LiDAR in an unwanted way.

Mounting position

To rule out even the slightest effects on the measurement accuracy, the products
should be arranged in such a way that as few laser beams as possible are received
from other products.

Recommended minimum distances/angles to increase robustness:

Angle

Distance 200 mm
