Weather hood

Update 2020:

the weatherhood itself is made of "ALU ALLOY       ALMG3G22       3.3535.24"  the enhancement is made from "STAHL,NRST        -X6CRNITI1810 (1.4541)"


Since June 2020 the weather hood is available as reinforced version:

The added sheet metal parts are made from stainless steel.
This more robust version of the weather hood is still available with the same part no. 2063050.
The improvement was done based on customer's feedback where the hood was used on cranes or AGVs with excessive vibration.


Update 2017:
Since January 2017 the LMS5xx weather hood 2063050 is improved, based on customer's feedback:
- There is more room to mount and open the connection box.
- There are holes integrated now to put through a screw driver for opening the box.
- Nuts are now fixed at the four points where the weather hood gets closed at the end of the mounting
The handling with it should be better now.

Left the "old" version, on the right the "new" modified version, with the bigger holes /openings for the connection box.
Both are still in the same colour available. For the photo we mark the old one in a darker gray.

The "old" version is sold out in the meantime and the "new" version is available with the same part no. 2063050.

Remark:
Be careful how to mount the adapter 2059271.
It is not symetrical, so if you mount it in the wrong way, the two attachments ("ears") for the connection box will collide with the weather hood!

Mounted in the right way, no problems with the "ears" of the adapter and the weather hood.
