Now, I will show you how you have to integrate the SIG200 into a Siemens PLC and how to configure the function block to get the service data of the connected sensors.
First, you have to download the gsdml file from our Website and integrate it into the TIA Portal.
The next step is to put the SIG200 via drag and drop it into your hardware configuration and then connect it with your PLC.
Set the IP address and the Profinet device name in the properties of the SIG200
Next Step is,to configure the ports of the SIG200 in the hardware configuration.
In this case, I use a Powerprox with 4 Byte process data. So I take the “IO-Link 4I / 0O + PQI” module and place it via drag and drop on the first port of the master.
That’s the hardware config if you use only one sensor. Download it to your PLC.
After this you can use the function blocks from our Website (function block factory)
The CAP (client access point). With our old IOLG2 it was 255. With the SIG200 it is 46080 (HEX = B400).
The ID for the function block you find in the hardware config.
If you click on the head module of the IO-Link master in the hardware config then “Properties” and “System constants”.
I hope that helps.
