Connect + Software Tutorial

Open the Connect + Software. Open the setup tap and klick on "Search for Connect + adapter". Follow the instructions.

If the COM port to which the ultrasonic sensor is connected is found, the following message is displayed.

The connection to the sensor can now be established. To do this, click on the button at the top left. This reads the data from the sensor.

The Connect + Software may ask you to press the reset button on the Connect + adapter. This button is marked with an "R" on the adapter and needs to be hold for 3 seconds.

Klick on the ADD ON button to get access to all settings.

The available settings differ based on the sensor.

1. Switching output or analog output configurations.
2. Compensation functions, with standard settings being recommended
3. Filter settings and filter intensity; the ideal filter varies according to the application. We are pleased to assist you in selecting the appropriate filter.
4. Describes the sensitivity to received measurement signals. These settings can help to suppress interference in the measurement environment.
5. Synchronization and multiplexing is intended to prevent mutual interference between ultrasonic sensors placed close to each other.
6. Switching points of the switching output our analog output curve parameterization.
7. Blind zone setting.
8. Reset to factory settings.
