Some applications require to switch on and of the emitting laser during operation. There are two ways to implement this for the OD200:
Using the physical multifunctional input of the sensor
Sending a specific command via IO-Link
In case you wish to control the sensors laser via IO-Link you need to send a binary 0 (to switch on the laser) or a binary 1 (to switch off the laser) via the process data output to the sensor.
