Dear all,
We get a task from the customer to detect bubbles in liquid. The liquid flows through a transparent pipe with 10mm outer dimension.
The pipe is the suction hose of a pump, which sucks the liquid out of a tank.
The problem on customer side is if there is a leakage in the pipe, they damage their pump. The bubbles succesfully indicate if there is any leakage.
Our solution is WLL180T-P434 #6039095 (WLL80 should work too) and LL3-TF01 #5324242.
The LL3-TF01 fits perfectly on the pipe. You fix it with cable ties.
If there are bubbles in the pipe, there will be a lens effect and the receiver receives more light.
The pipe has to be mounted horizontally, so that the bubbles are always in the centerline.
You have to reduce the light energy (SPor) to the minimum and as teach you have to use the 1 point teach, the pipe filled with liquid has to be in between during the teach.
If you have any questions or other solutions, please do not hesitate to leave a comment or a like.
