Have you checked the T&T Systems General Troubleshooting Guide?

Please ask yourself the following Questions:

  1. What kind of system is it about?
  2. How often does the trouble occur / how is the regularity?
  3. Do you have similar system which are working?
  4. Did the system work once or never yet?
  5. Do we have any errors or warnings in the controller?
  6. Do I receive Speed and Trigger in the controller?
  7. Do the conveyor view looks like expected?
  8. Is the system timing in SIM and other devices OK?
  9. What firmware version is used to check for known bugs?

Indicators of root causes

Errors on device

  • CAN network issue
  • Ethernet connection issue
  • FTP connection issue
  • Dynamic T&T App issue

Assignment problems (codes are read but not assigned)

  • The start and stop are not matching with the object edges?
  • Code positions are not correct?
  • Device position is not correct?

 

Customer Communication Issues (no communication at all)

  • Is communication cable (ethernet) plugged in?
  • Is the communication setting (like IP-Address) set correctly?
  • Is the customer pingable from controller side?
  • Is the communication in general working in customer network (like NTP time server)
