RFH630 or RFH620 produced after CW44/2013 are categorized as large RAM devices with new hardware. These devices support Profinet IO. For devices with installed firmware version before V3.00, please use the Firmware Update Package to update the first stage loader before proceeding with the normal FWP update. Get in contact with your Sick support.
Please note: It is possible to upgrade also devices with older hardware versions to the newest firmware >=V5.00. However a downgrade to versions before V5.00 won't be able anymore.
RFH620 (Pre-CW44/2013)
RFH620 produced on or before CW44/2013 are devices with small RAM (old hardware). These devices should use only firmware till V2.11. Due to the memory limitation, Profinet IO is not supported.
