Abstract

Description of the output function of the LMS53x.

 

Disqualification Output


That output has no special function in the LMS531. It is a standard output that can be used for all available functions (Field evaluation, Device Ready, Contamination, etc.). Just the standard defineds, that the outputs have  to have certain names. That are:

  • Alarm
  • Error
  • Sabotage
  • Disqualification

But that does not indicate a certain function.
The LMS1xx for example has no disqualification output, because that device has only 3 outputs (Alarm, Error, Sabotage), so a disqualification output was not possible.
