Is is possible to mount a face mount flange encoder with a centering of 36mm on the spring arm from the measuring wheel encoder DBV50?

The DBV50 is a measuring wheel encoder and basically consists of a measuring wheel, the spring arm mechanic and an encoder which is normally the DBS50E-S5 with a clamping flange diameter of 30mm.

Customer applications made it necessary for other encoders to be installed on the spring arm mechanic of the DBV50 to have more electrical interfaces.

 

This was the reason to add two measuring wheel kits to SICK homepage that are:

 

  • BEF-MRS-10-U/2085714 with the measuring wheel with circumference 200mm
  • BEF-MRS-10-U-300/2109043 with the measuring wheel with circumference 300mm

Those kits consists of:

  • spring arm mechanic from the DBV50
  • a measuring wheel with circumference 200mm or 300mm
  • an adapter flange and screws to mount all clamping flange encoders with a clamping flange diameter of 36mm

There is NO encoder included.
