For the detection of transparent objects fine triple reflectors eg. Type: P250F Part no.: 5308843 are strongly recommended.

In general after each WL(G) sensor installation/ sensor/ reflector exchange a reteach of the sensor is absolutely necessary.

The high sensor sensitivity of our WLG sensors that are able to detect a transparency of only 10% is only reliable reachable if sensor and reflector works together as fixed pair.

After the teach
- a movement of the light spot on the reflector surface is not allowed therefore a very stable mounting bracket is crucial,
- changing of the sensor-reflector distance is not allowed!

The exchange of the reflector without sensor reteach is not recommend and will lead to fail detection. 

These points are as more critical as more sensitive the sensor switching threshold is adjusted.

During the teach in the reflector life signal value is set to 100%. This 100% is the reference for the teached switching thresholds. If this 100% reflector signal changes eg. because of vibrations after the teach in for more than the adjusted sensor sensitivity eg. 10% the sensor can not work reliable anymore.

In general we have to say one sensor for transparent object detection can�t work reliable with more than one/ another than the teached reflector.
