PeopleCounter: Rectangular masking

You can use the rectangular masking to blank out one area in the Region of Interest from the PeopleCounter.

All scans inside this area are ignored.

There is only one area you can set up!

You can use this e.g. to remove static objects inside of the ROI, where no person is walking through.

In the example screenshot below you can see a table on the left side of the ROI. To mask this out you have to put in the four parameters manually.

• X1 = min distance (from sensor downwards)
• X2 = max distance (from sensor downwards)
• Y1 = left bound (sensor to left side is negative; sensor to right side is positive)
• Y2 = right bound (sensor to left side is negative; sensor to right side is positive)
