Measurment technology HDDM+

HDDM+ measurement technology is in general robust against mutual interferences from other sensors. In HDDM+, each measurement point consists of several superimposed individual pulses. Depending on the scan profile (angle resolution and frequence) up to 254 pulses are combined for one measurement point. To prevent interference, the pulse timing is not fixed but random. This reduces the risk of the LiDAR synchronizing with another LiDAR in an unwanted way.

Mounting position

To rule out even the slightest effects on the measurement accuracy, the products should be arranged in such a way that as few laser beams as possible are received from other products.
