General Information

For extended troubleshooting the LRS4000 supports device diagnostic files, starting with FW V1.5.0.

The customer can create the diagnostic files on the device itself and forward the encrypted file to SICK, which than has access to error logs as well as IMU data and other internal device parameters. This enables the SICK team to reduce the troubleshooting time and leads to faster response to our customers.

Firmware Version 1.5.0 & 1.5.1

Since there is no graphical support for this FW versions, the customer needs to follow the steps, described in the appended instruction to get a diagnostic file, which needs to be forwarded to SICK.

From Firmware Version 1.6.0

The diagnostic and error interface can be found in the "Diagnostic > Overview" tab (1). All active and past deactivated errors and warnings are shown in the top area (2), where the "Status" informs if this error/warning is still active or if it is already deactivated. All displayed information are part of the diagnostic file. Whenever a new error occurs, a new diagnostic file is created automatically and stored on the device. The customer can either "Download" the most recently created diagnostic file (4) or Create a new file (3), which contains the current set of device parameter that can be downloaded afterwards.
