All picoScan150 performances level (Core, Prime, Pro) can be used to retro fit a TiM3xx / TiM7xx. However, make sure the variant you use has the object detection / field evaluation feature onboard.
The TiM3xx/7xx uses 16 so-called field sets. A field set consists of three evaluation fields. You can only activate one of these field sets at a time by connecting the four inputs (2^4 = 16 field sets). Each field in each field set is permanently connected to a digital output (field 1 = output 1, field 2 = output 2, field 3 = output 3).
The picoScan150 uses groups instead of field sets. However, a group is still a collection of evaluation fields that can be activated by a trigger (e.g. freely configurable input combination, telegram, always active, ..). Several groups can be active at the same time. A group can have several (>3) evaluation fields. Evaluation fields are no longer permanently connected to outputs. Several evaluation fields can trigger a specific output.
The attached .sopas file (top right corner on this page) can be imported to a picoScan150 with SOPAS ET to retrofit a TiM3xx / TiM7xx.

Connector pinning (picoScan150 vs. TiM3xx/7xx)
Make sure you use the right system plug (PN: 2130871) which provides the best compatibility for TiMs. The following information on the left side always refer to the picoScan150 while the information on the right refer to the TiM3xx / TiM7xx.
Also note: While the TiM3xx/7xx had designated inputs and outputs (4 Inputs, 4 Outputs) the picoScan150 has only 6 Ports (Input or Output) due to hardware limitations. Therefore the provided .sopas file uses the following I/O assignments: ③ In1, ④ In2, ⑤ OUT1, ⑥ OUT2, ⑦ OUT3, ⑧ OUT4. This also means that In3 and In4 do not exist and therefore the same input logic cannot be generated.
