Hi all,
Today I will show you an application which could be interesting for you.
The application is to check if the box on the conveyor is horizontal without contact to the box, the robot arm can pick the box correctly.
For this, we use four WTT4 to check at every edge of the box the distance.
The distance from sensor to every edge should be between 695mm and 705mm.
The customer would like to have only one signal to his PLC that the inclination is OK. For this we user the SIG200 to compare the values and send a signal via Profinet.
The application looks like this.
The configuration of the IO-Link ports has to look like this:
All ports as IO-Link
The Port owner has to be Logic Editor
And the IODD of the WTT4 has to choose at every port.
Then you have to change the Profinet Settings.
Here you have to choose as Input Data Configuration 31-4 Byte, 1-2 Byte, 1-1 Byte, 8Bool
And at last you have to make the logic like this.
The first CON value is 695 and is always compared with greater or equal then the distance value.
The second CON value is 705 and is always compared with less and equal then the distance value.
I hope that this is interesting for you.
