Switch output SIG100 with logic in SIG200

Tutorial on how to configure the SIG200 and the SIG100 to switch an output from the SIG100 with the logic from the SIG200.

We will show you how you have to configure the SIG200 and the SIG100 to switch an output from the SIG100 with the logic from the SIG200.

First, you have to set the port owner to „logic editor“ in the SIG200.
Then put in the IODD’s for example like this:



Then change the process data from the SIG100 from Analog value to “PDOut option 1(IL1…IL16)” in the tab IO-Link device.



So on the right side you can see the S1 IL1 (if SIG100 is connected to port S1) this is the output from the SIG200 to the SIG100.
The next thing is to make a “logic” in the SIG200, for example like below and connect it to the S1 IL1.



The next step is in the SIG100. In the configuration, you have to change for example Port 1 Pin 4 to Digital output.


The last thing is the connection between the IO-Link input “IL1” to the output “out”.



Now you can switch the output from the SIG100 with the logic from the SIG200.
