Just in case it happens that after the firmware update the device does not boot up completely, the following must be done: The attached file devcfg.pckg must be copied to a SD-card in the directory /lector65x/ If the directory does not exist on the SD card, it must be generated. Pay attention to lower case writing. This directory always has the same name, no matter if the hardware is Lector63x or Lector65x. Insert the card into the device. Restart device (power cycle). Wait until the device starts up. (This can take approximately five minutes in this case.) Remove card. The file devcfg.pckg on the card has deleted itself. Again, do the normal firmware update from V2.7 to V2.8 if necessary.
