The task is to control /guide a AGC.
Customer needs a robust solution because trucks and fork lifter are driving in the same area as the AGCs. The next thing is he has to give the AGC information like “slow down”, “speed up”, Drive left/ right and so on.

Our solution is the MLS with a magnetic tape on/in the floor.
The magnetic tape he can put in the floor of his factory and can cover it with resin or something like this, so the magnetic tape is resistant against all influences.

To control the AGC or to give information to the AGC, the MLS can handle up to three lines where the AGC can follow and up to seven marks in standard mode and 10 in extended mode to give the AGC information.

The line could be look like the picture below: 



The marks should look like in the picture below, you have to be careful that the marks have the opposite polarity faced up, that means if the line tape with the north pole facing up , the mark has to be south pole facing up or otherwise.



The distance from the mark to the line defines the code, which the MLS sends to the controller of the AGC.


For easy alignment of the marks, we have a marker template as accessories (4097520).
