Do our fibers have an IP rating?

Usually, our fibers do not have an IP rating.

The reason for this is that they form the passive part of the sensor unit.

-> The IP rating applies to housings for electronics. Environmental resistance is specified by parameters such as temperature range and bending radius.

The amplifier itself, which is an electrical component, has an IP rating.

For example, WLL80 has an IP54 rating.

If waterproof fibers are required, for example for detecting fill levels, tank leaks, etc., we have several fiber units in our portfolio. They start with LL3-DF**. Please note that these fibers also do not have an IP rating.
