We recently received a question about how to read the process data via IO-Link from the sensor CSM.
We use a Siemens 1200 CPU and our Profinet IO-Link master IOLG2PN. We works with the TIA-Portal V13.
So we want to know how to interpret the process data which you can see in the OI.
The tricky thing in this case is that you get every IO-Link cycle another emission Color and for that emission color the measured value. So if the emission color is "0" you get the measured value for Red, if the emission color is "1" you get the measured value for Green and if the emission color is "2" you get the measured value for Blue. All measured values together are the RGB color in front of the sensor.
In the attached document you will find a "how to"
And the example program with TIA Portal V13, also in the attachment.
