What is the difference between "Reset application" and "Back-to-box"?

The OD200 provides several reset options.
When using IO-Link there are two reset options:

  • Reset application
  • Back-to-box

The difference between those two options is following:

While “Reset application” only resets the application-related settings, resetting to factory settings also resets all identification labels specified by the user.
In addition, resetting to factory settings disconnects IO-Link communication. To reconnect the sensor to the IO-Link master, please restart the device.
