Possible problems with RFH5xx EtherNET/IP FB:

When using the RFH5xx in combination with the SIG200 EtherNET/IP, problems may occur which are indicated in the function block. 

 

Possible error pattern:

  • FB returns timeout error
  • Other unexpected error codes are returned by the FB
  • Data from SIG200 does not arrive at the PLC

This may be due to incorrect parameterization of the timing.

Solution

In most cases, timing problems are caused by incorrect parameterization of the RPI (Requested packet interval). If a SIG200 is used, the default RPI time must be set <= 10ms to ensure stable data transmission.
