The sensor uses a focusing lens and aperture, which is why the "classic" case, i.e. a certain size at the window and defined divergence, does not exist. The point of the smallest spot extension is reached outside the standard measuring range. Transverse to the scanning direction (Y), which is seen optically as the width of the laser line, the dimensions are at the window = 3 mm, at 1.5 m = 2.42 mm and at 3 m = 2.12 mm. The smallest extent is reached in about 4.5 m = 2 mm; in 7.8 m it is 3 mm again. Along the scanning direction (X), i.e. optically along the laser line, the dimensions at the window are = 4 mm, at 1.5 m = 3.79 mm and at 3 m = 3.05 mm. The smallest extent is reached in about 5.75 m = 1.61 mm; It is only 3mm again in approx. 8.8 m. (The values can vary slightly from device to device).
