Task:

Counting all kind of bottles with different sizes

  • Bottles are close together - body to body
  • different designs & labels
  • can be opaque or semi transparent

 

Recommended sensor:

MLG-2 Pro with up to 4 x Q outputs

  • Sensing area = in-between the bottle neck

    

Suggestion for setup:

  • configure different zones for each bottle height

  • configure the output function - for each size one Q output

  • watching the result

 

Benefit  MLG versus WLXX(G) single beam system:

  • no movement of sensor after changing bottle size - one sensor for all kind of bottles
  • more reliable thanks to multi-beam system in case of critical transparent bottles
  • Flexible change of configuration to reach best detection results
  • up to 4 Q outputs can be used, so that each Q output corresponds to one bottle size
