Analytics Uninstallation Instructions for Linux

Open terminal window in the Linux environment and navigate to the director of the Analytics installation binary.

 

Note:  When uninstalling, be sure to uninstall all Analytics patch installers from newest to oldest.  Then uninstall the original full installer.  When uninstalling the patches, following the described steps for the patch binaries before doing the same when uninstalling the original full installer binary.

If the application does not have execute access permissions (x), use the chmod command to assign the permissions:   chmod u+x SICK_An-4.6.1.bin

 

Run the installer using the sudo command and enter the appropriate password to start the installation

Select "Modify an Existing Instance" and "OK"

Select "Uninstall Product" and "Next"

The Uninstallation Warning is a reminder, if applicable, to uninstall all Analytics Patches from newest to oldest before uninstalling the original full installation binary. If you are in compliance of the process select OK to continue or Cancel to discontinue.

Select "Next"

select "Delete" to delete the Media Server Index File and Images.  Otherwise, select "Keep" to not delete the Media Server Index File and Images.  Select "Uninstall" to proceed with the uninstall.

The progress of the uninstallation will be displayed

Select "Done"
