Why you can’t find the SIG200 EthernetIP via Ethernet.
The problem here is that the Sig200 EIP in default mode is set to “BootP” mode and has the IP address 0.0.0.0, so SOPAS can’t find the SIG200.
There are two possibilities to make the SIG200 available.

The first solution is to change the IP address via the USB connection and SOPAS to an IP rang which you need.
Therefore you have to open SOPAS, go to Gateway configuration and change the addressing Mode to “Static” IP address, then give it a valid IP address and apply it.

After this restart the SIG200 and you will find it in SOPAS or via the Webbrowser via the Ethernet connection with the given IP address.

The second solution is to change the mode and the IP address via a BootP-DHCP tool.
Therefore you can connect the SIG200 with an Ethernet cable to the PC, you do not need an USB cable.
Start the BootP-DHCP tool and choose your network interface, depending on where you connect the SIG200.

Now you can see the MAC address of your SIG200.
Choose the MAC address and press the button Add Relation.

Now you can enter the IP address for the SIG200.

You can see the entered IP address.
Now press the button Disable BOOTP/DHCP and your SIG200 has a static IP address and you will be  able to find it via the Web browser.
