Are the inputs and outputs of the picoScan150 galvanically isolated?
The power supply of the picoScan150 and the inputs/outputs are not galvanically isolated, so they are not electrically isolated.
What is the dielectric withstand voltage (commonly referred to as the “dielectric strength test”) of the picoScan150?
The picoScan150 complies with EN 61010. Based on the corresponding overvoltage category and the maximum supply voltage of the device, the test voltage for air gaps is 500VAC or ~700VDC (√2 x 500VAC). The picoScan150 has internal protection elements against transient overvoltages that discharge to the chassis potential. The maximum DC operating voltage is 53V - up to this voltage the protection elements can withstand without becoming conductive.
What is the electrostatic discharge (ESD) class of the LiDAR, especially with regard to IEC 61000-4-2?
Based on IEC 61000-4-2, the test severity is: Air: ± 8 kV, Contact: ± 4 kV; Indirect: ± 4 kV
