As you know our MPS-G sensors are designed for grippers or C-slot short stroke cylinders with a travel ≤ 50mm.

If you doesn't like the separate MPS-G teach unit at first glance because the cylinder in your application is moving fast and you see the also moving Teach unit as an additional source for failure, you can use the following small but smart accessory:

To mount the teach unit you can use the BEF-CPMPS-G Part no.:2117133 https://internal.sick.com/hq/en/p/p660838
that can be fixed by two cable ties or two screws to the application and the Teach unit can be clicked in.



You can find both small but helpful pieces in the accessories tab of every MPS-G
