There are two different versions of SOPAS ET available, the normal version and the portable version with 32bit and 64bit.

What is the difference between the portable and the normal version?

The normal version of SOPAS ET has an installer. Due to this it provides also device drives that must be installed in the system.

The disadvantage is that this requires admin rights. Because some customers don't have admin rights to install software there has been a portable version of SOPAS ET develped.

The portable version does not need to be installed and admin rights are not necessary. It can be easily started via an exe file.

As an disadvantage all necessary drivers must be already installed in the system.

Also no SOPAS USB listener is installed which means that devices with an USB connection can't be used with the portable SOPAS ET.
