How can I mount the encoder with clamping/face mount flange on the MRA?

1) For this the accessory kit MRA-F-L / 6030124 is needed.

2) Put the distance ring on the encoder and tighten it smoothly.

3) Put the encoder on the flange adaptor.

4) Put the first part of the coupling on the shaft.

5) Measure the height between the surface of the coupling to the end of the flange.

If necessary, re-adjust the distance ring until you reach the following dimensions:

• MRA-F-080         --> 10.0mm
• MRA-F-130/190 -->   8.2mm

6) Remove the encoder from the adapter flange.

7) Put the small sealing ring into the groove of the adapter flange.

8) Place the encoder on the adapter flange with the sealing ring.

9) Fix the encoder with the three screws.

10) Put the big sealing ring into the groove of the mechanism.

11) Place all the parts of the coupling onto the shaft of the mechanism.

12) Put the encoder which is mounted on theadapter flange onto the mechanism.

13) Adjust the encoder mechanically to the desired position by turning the adapter flange.

14) Fix the position of the encoder and adapter flange with the four servo clamps.
