How to change settings of an IO-Link sensor which is connected to the IO-Link master SIG200.
What you need:
SIG200-0A0G12200 1102605
Power supply 24VDC with M12 plug
USB config cable YM8U24-015VG3MUSA 6051163
IO-Link sensor, connection cable and the corresponding IODD file
PC with SopasET (Sensor parametration tool)
Connect all devices to the SIG200 and open the sensor parameterization software SopasET. Usually it will start automatically when you plug in the USB cable to the PC.
Search for the SIG200 and double click the sensor icon. Log in as user "maintenance" with password "main". Move to "configuration".
Press "upload IODD" and select the right file.
Example with the background suppression device WTB4SC:
1. Step is to upload the IODD to the SIG200. 2. Step is to choose it on the right port. 3. Do not forget to press "Apply". 4. Step is to switch to the "IO-Link Devices" window.
5. Scroll down to "parameter data" and check the indices list which is available online. 6. Change the setting you want to work with. In this example, I wrote index 02 with the value of 65 as decimal. This means I want to do a single teach. 7. Press read/write and check the command stauts.
We are finished.
Another way is just by using the webserver of the SIG 200.
So just bring the SIG 200 into your network and access the SOPAS Webinterface by typing in any Browser the URL of the SIG 200 (e.g. 192.168.0.1)
