The standard DGS60/61 was available with the following mechanical interfaces:

  • DRS60/61-x4xxxxxx → Face mount flange, solid shaft with a diameter of 10 mm
  • DRS60/61-x1xxxxxx → Servo flange, solid shaft with a diameter of 6 mm
  • DRS60/61-xAxxxxxx → Blind hollow shaft
  • DRS60/61-xDxxxxxx → Through hollow shaft

As you can see, there were just two diameters for the solid shaft versions available and the product key was easy to decipher.
This does not apply to the product keys of the blind and through hollow shaft versions.

The standard hollow shaft diameter of those two versions was 15 mm (without a collet). In order to be able to use other shaft diameters as well, there were collets as accessories in different diameters available.
The following table shows those collets, the type and the old partnumber:

If the customer needs a replacement for a DRS60 with either a blind or through hollow shaft, the needed diameter or the diameter of the collet has to be measured at first.
Subsequently, a suitable replacement (DFS60 or DBS60) can be selected.
