If you check the pictures of the homepages from the hollow shaft encoders DFS60, SFx60, AFx60 SSI and VFS60 it looks like that the stator coupling is mounted via screws with a cross recess. This was also the case in the former time.

Nowadays, a TORX screw, more precisely a self tapening /thread-forming M2.5x6mm Torx T8 screw, is used like shown on the picture below.

The pictures from the hollow shaft encoders DFS60S Pro, AFx60S Pro and AFx60 Ethernet are already up to date.

The DFS60, SFx60, AFx60 SSI and VFS60 do also have this TORX screw.
